“Let’s get visible and pedal in the darkness !!!”
This is an evening cycle rally, initiated by Kathmandu Cycle City 2020 – Ride with Pride!!, Cycle City Network Nepal, to raise voice against insecure traffic condition and insecure streets of the Kathmandu Valley especially for bicycle users who pedal in no light. The rally will also bid farewell to noted wildlife biologist Dr. Prahlad Yonzon, who died in bicycle accident, hit by a truck, at Balkhu.
Cyclists should try their best to Get Visible during evening time so as to minimize bicycle accident. Normally bicycles have got no lights and it’s very risky to pedal in crippling streets of Kathmandu Valley. Provision of light either through street lights or by cyclists themselves could only minimize accident risks.
